A change of ownership sparked Hovik to completely overhaul their brand, promotional material, and website.

The new look features clean lines and an elegant design which, together with stunning custom photography, reflect the high quality of Hovik's product line.

After looking at the work that 612 had done for another industrial client, Hovik decided that they wanted a complete overhaul of their brand, promotional material, and website.

The first step in the rebranding process was to create a memorable logo that would become the new face of Hovik. As we do in many cases, our designers created preliminary concepts, narrowing the font options and accompanying graphic elements to represent the company and what it does. Shown here are some of the early logo concepts. All efforts were made to evoke the industrial qualities of this washroom and locker partition manufacturer. The final incarnation of the logo was chosen for its clean lines and font, as well as its ability to stand the test of time.

The next step was to redesign Hovik’s corporate literature including their company brochure, two product line catalogues, a colour selector chart which required liaising with the printer to manage custom spot colours, varnishes and textures, and a tabbed binder to hold all of the collateral.

Hovik took advantage of our in-house capability for custom photography to compliment the composition and layout of each collateral piece. Our ability to stage and shoot their products and installations at several lower-mainland locations, allowed us to provide all of the images for their collateral.

Once the product catalogues and company brochure were designed, we had all the content necessary to begin building their new website. The website itself draws on the already established design elements from the literature, but expands on the philosophy of clean lines and ease of navigation through all areas of the site.

This complete marketing collateral package delivers the manufacturers’s product details and specifications in a visually pleasing manner. All items are queued and prompted to be refreshed periodically in order to keep the content as current and interesting as possible. From the first logo concepts and brochure designs through to website completion, this project has raised the bar and drawn a blueprint for any company looking to take their visual identity to the next level.

Most importantly, Hovik reported a noticeable increase in sales with the release of their new promotional material and website. With all other factors remaining constant, it is evident that the rebranding of their company was a key driver of that growth!
