After working as a senior designer at Robert Sharpe communications in Calgary, at Typeline Graphics and at Sears Canada, Rob founded McLogo Communications Group in 1987. Starting off as a small group dedicated to serving their clients with corporate identity packages, and print collateral, McLogo quickly grew to an agency of 6 people. With continued growth in size, McLogo also grew to handle the growing needs of a healthy client base, adding market research, and the development and execution of marketing plans for product and service development as well as geographic expansion.
Rob has lived and grown his business by a strong commitment to servicing his clients. He believes in knowing and caring for the clients that care for his business. He believes that good design makes good sense and that a commitment to service is just good business. Rob believes in building relationships for the long term, and the agencies largest clients, the Sauder family of companies and the Overwaitea Food Group, have been with him for over a decade.
Equally devoted to building relationships with his team, most of the 612 staff have been with the agency for a long time as well. With a love of history and a special affinity for the City of New Westminster, Rob moved his company into a Victorian era factory loft at 612 Columbia Street. With the new space came an expansion of the creative team and the new era of 612 Creative. Rob is a member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada, the New Westminster Community Heritage Commission, the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce, the Spirit of Vancouver, and the City of Vancouver Board of Trade. Rob lives in the Tri-Cities area with his wife and two children.
